About the Short North

The Short North is an arts and entertainment district just north of downtown Columbus, OH.  The area has been undergoing serious renovation since the early eighties and is now in the process of moving even farther north.  Eventually the Short North will be connected to the renovations going on in the south campus area of the Ohio State University.  The Short North is already fairly well connected to downtown and the Convention Center to the south thanks to the cap – a series of buildings built on the bridge over the freeway.
